Instructor Gabby Flores began her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2010 at just ten years old, training under her father, Sal Flores. A key part of Pallaton since its founding in 2012, Gabby actively competed throughout her childhood and continues to do so in the adult ranks. In July 2023, she proudly became Pallaton’s first female brown belt, promoted by her father.
Gabby enjoys her role as a kids' coach, serving as an instructor, mentor, and role model. In May 2023, she launched a women’s-only Jiu-Jitsu class to create a safe space for women of all ranks and ages. She also organizes a monthly Tucson women’s-only open mat, fostering a strong community of local jiujiteiras.
Passionate about the growth of women’s Jiu-Jitsu, Gabby is dedicated to empowering her students and training partners, helping them grow on and off the mats. She continues to train, both locally and during her travels, always seeking to expand her knowledge and connect with the global Jiu-Jitsu community.
