Professor Nate Danfort
Professor Nate began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2013, initially training for weight loss and fitness. Over the years, he competed at every rank and found a passion for teaching, starting with kids’ classes as a purple belt. Professor Nate successfully led a kids' program at a previous school and ran a small garage gym in rural Avra Valley from 2020 to 2022.
In 2023, Professor Nate joined Pallaton Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and earned his black belt under Professor Sal Flores in the summer of 2024. He now helps instruct the 6am classes and leads the fundamentals program. Guided by Chris Haueter's philosophy of “Think Street, Train Sport, Practice Art,” Professor Nate finds joy in witnessing the transformative power of Jiu-Jitsu, whether it’s humbling seasoned athletes or building confidence in beginners.
And in another note he is the talented photographer behind all these shots!
